Gas Powered Boats or Electronic Powered Boats

In my perspective gas powered boats pollute the water but electronic boats would die quicker unless they produced a new envintion for batterys to last for a long time.

  1. I think electronic powered boats are better because it doesnt pollute the water and it cost less. Instead of paying a lot for gas, all you have to do is charge the battery. Although gas powered boats last longer, i think electronic powered boats are better for the enviroment.

  2. Even though elecric powered boats would be better for the enviroment I think gas powered boats are better. The batteries they would use are very expensive to replace. Electric boats probaly would not catch on.

  3. I agree with Kaitlyn. I think that electronic boats are a lot better for our enviornment then gas powered boats. I believe this because they don't pollute our water which means they don't kill living things in the water. I also agree with this because gas prices are so high today that electronic boats would also save us money in the long run.

  4. I know that the ideal boat would be gas powered because electronic batteries would not last very long, but they better thing for our atmosphere would be electronic powered boat. It is much safer for our environment and our health.

  5. Electric powered boats, with some improvements, are the better option for water travel. They don't pollute the water, and are quieter than gas powered boats. If improvements in battery life and charging efficiency occurred, they would definitely be more productive, safer, and commit less pollution.

  6. I believe that the electric powerd boats would be way better for the enviornment, since they dont pollute the ocean. A downside would be that the battery life would soon die and you would continually have to replace them but, I would rather buy a battery than harm the ocean

  7. I like the idea of electric power boats for the simple fact that gas can pollute the water. Electric boats seem better than gas boats, however, they would require more resources from Earth in order to operate.

  8. I think electric power boats would be more environmentally smart, however I agree with Troy about them dying too quickly. Of course, you could always carry backup batteries with you.

  9. I think that electric power boats would be more safe for swimmers and fish. Gas powered boats cause pollution to leak into the water causing anything in the water to get sick.

  10. Electronic boats all of the way. Like everyone knows those gas powered boats are huge water polluters. Though they do go faster and run longer. In my opinon though the electronic boats are more reasonable. That reason is because they run on a battery charge. Sure they may not go as long as a gas boat, it's still better to charge a battery than to pay for gas which is closing in on $4.

  11. The gas boats really don't pollute the water, and they really don't effect the air that much. But i guess the boats add up, and eventually in the future tthey will fix those problems. Gas prices are going up to, such as other people had posted.

  12. I think that if they could make a solar powered boat would be slightly more useful then the use of an electric or gas fueled boat. Because most people use boats during the day, and I think it's considered unsafe to go boating at night, there would be no worry about the boat losing energy. The solar panels would also hold energy to use at night for in case the boater would want to stay late or lost track of time. This is a lot healthier to the environment then fuel and a lot more useful then electric.

  13. In my perspective I think that gas powered boats are better for going deep sea fishing or on a long trip because it lasts longer than electric charged boats. If your just going tubing and river fishing I would think that electric powered boats would be better in that case.
